...After a long week of budgets, Ed's off on a well-deserved vacation for a few days. So, as the ISC Marketing Director, I've hijacked his blog to give you a behind-the-scenes look at what we're working on here at ISC headquarters!
First, a shameless plug for the launch this week of our Twitter page. Probably like most of you, we're still trying to figure out the whole social media thing, but I've found some good resources out there. First, my favorite - What the F is social media? – an overview of what it is and why you should care. Also, Brian Offenberger offers some great tips in his webcast “The Right On-No Bull Guide to Generating Leads in a Tough Economy” available for free through the ISC Education Online Learning Series. What else is going on here? We're hard at work recruiting products for the New Product Showcase at ISC East (exhibitors - if you're reading this, participation is free!); reviewing speaker proposals for the all-new ISC Education program we're developing for ISC West; and putting together some research to see how we can make our Security Insights by ISC365 newsletter more valuable for you. By the way, you can save us some time on that last one by emailing me directly with any ideas of what you'd like to see included in the newsletter!
Ed will be back next week, but feel free to email me at any time with questions on what we're doing here - or thoughts on what we should be doing to improve your experience with the ISC events and ISC365.com. Amie Cangelosi

The social networking link is a classic! How this type of interaction is commercialized will become one of the futures most reviewed aspects of business.
